Sebastián Martinez is one of Sienz’s founding partners and has been its CEO since its inception in July 2017.
He had previously been Executive Director of Compac Latin America, of which he had also been a founding partner in 2006. There, he participated in the sale, design and execution of more than 100 projects for fresh fruit and vegetable packing houses throughout Latin America.
He holds a degree in Plant-Mechanical Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Business Administration and Finance from Uruguay’s Universidad de la República. In addition, he has studied Leadership and International Business at Auckland and Harvard Business Schools.
Marcus Davies joined Sienz as a partner as well as manager of the Engineering and Solutions department in 2017.
He has 30 years of engineering and management experience in manufacturing companies, including 15 years devoted to engineering and managing Compac Sorting Equipment, during which time he developed the company’s range of sorting equipment and global facilities.
He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Auckland and has also studied Engineering at the University of Technology in Auckland.
Manuel Gonzalez joined Sienz Latin America as its General Manager in 2017.
He has over 15 years of experience in Project Management, Consulting and Business Management in the chemical, renewable energy, automotive and agribusiness sectors.
He is a Chemical Engineer, holds the degree of Master of Business Administration from the Uruguay’s Universidad Católica Dámaso Antonio Larrañaga and has also studied Finance in the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
Andrew McConnell leads the Project Management department of Sienz.
A certified PMP, Andrew has 15 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer. For the past 7 years, he has led plants carrying out diverse production processes, in particular the manufacture of Compac and Sienz equipment at Sienz’s plant in Colonia, Uruguay.
He has a Plant-Mechanical Engineer’s degree from Uruguay’s Universidad de la República, and has studied supply-chain management at Uruguay’s Universidad de Montevideo.
Eduardo Ruggiero is Sienz’s Administration and Finance Manager.
He has 14 years of experience in accounting and finance, including 8 years working in Compac Latin America and later Sienz. Eduardo played an essential role in the foundation of Sienz, dealing with all tax, accounting and financial issues.
He earned the degree of Public Accountant from Uruguay’s Universidad de la República.
Ana Moreno is the head of the Human Resources department of Sienz Europe, a position she has held since January 2016.
She holds a degree of Business Administration and Management and a degree in Law from Uruguay’s Universidad de la República. Her experience began in the accounts auditing profession, but she later took up the legal profession and specialized in Labor Law for more than 7 years.
She later resumed her initial career and pursued a master’s degree in Human Resources Management.
